I’ve decided to give you another physicians formula review today on the shimmer strip pop for hazel eyes. I picked this up from CVS while they had their 75% off sale.
Here’s what the website claims:

I have used them both ways and with and without a base. These shadows apply very very sheer alone when used dry. They apply more true to pan when applied over a base i.e. nyx jumbo eye shadow stick. But they apply 100% true to pan when applied wet!! When used wet you are still able to blend but you have to give the shadows a minute to dry down to powder.
The brush included is actually amazing for this particular product. It allows you to apply your shadow like a typical sponge tip applicator but it comes to a point and it perfect for applying these as liner! And it’s also great for applying shadows right into the crease.
The staying power is fairly decent when a base is used 5-6 hours for my eyes without fading. When applied wet these things don't budge for a good 5 hours without fading and minimal creases even without a base. As for primers, they last as well as all other shadows I've tried with primers, all day for me 8-12 hours without fading.
I find the colors in this palette to be very interesting and quite unique. The first shadow is a white with an amazing pink duo chrome effect. The second color is a bright fuschia with a slight tinge of blue. The third color, which is a liner shade is a beautiful taupe with a hint of pink. The fourth shade is a bright golden yellow. The fifth color is a classic cranberry shade. The sixth which is also a liner is a warm medium chestnut brown. The seventh shade is a light creamy yellow. The eighth is pretty baby pink which happened to be the softest shade in my palette at least, it has a tendency to crumble :( . And last but not least the nineth shade is a liner shade in a rusty cranberry color.
All colors in this palette are shimmery! So be warned! If you’re a lover of matte shadows this palette will be a huge disappointment!
I do have to say that this palette probably wouldn't be useful for daily use when it comes to the office. Most of these shades are very vibrant with the exception of only a few (baby pink, taupe, etc.). And as far enhancing hazel eyes, I'm not so sure but they are really fun shades for days that I want to brighten up my look. And what girl doesn't like to have a fun pink eyeshadow palette?
These palettes retail for about $10-11 at most drugstores. But as always keep your eye out for promotional sales and coupons!
